This place is a gold mine for everything Indian right from spices to instant curries and ready to eat food. They have limited stock for groceries. Surprisingly they have tandoori & tawa rotis available in packets and it is not those frozen ones which is a plus point. we visited today and their stock was full so everything we needed we got at this place.
We find only Indian items perfectly. Price of items might be a little costly but it's ok because at list we have place where we can find Indian items. We have Nameste Bazar (40th & Dodge) and DRUK LCA or GURUNG Brothers Stores at 40th street & Cuming Street if something not available.
Namaste Plaza is our visit place for shopping for Indian groceries, you get every indian almost every Indian eatables there. You can even purchase puja items like sandal powder, sugar,beetlenuts, kumkum,inscense sticks and many more. The frozen section alsi has ready to cook vegetables and snacks. They even sell idli amd dosa batter for your convenience. Then they have sweet section selling traditional Indian sweets.Besides Namaste Plaza there is Maharaja Indian retaurant where you can even have Indian buffet everyday.
Great place for all foods Indian, Pakistani, Bangladesh.. You want it they have it.. Very helpful staff...Though there is another place Salaam Namaste which has Bangladeshi food stuffs which were fun to try out. So Salaam Namaste specialises in Bengal / Bangla stuff whilst Namaste Plaza specialises in Indian foods.
Good appetizers made fresh. The person at the checkout should have put the cell phone away till finished with my order
Good prices and courteous service. I dont shop at places like this often but seemed to have a good selection.
